- Medical Records and Transcription
Welcome to the Department of Medical Records and Transcription under the Faculty of Leadership and Management. A medical records and transcription training department, as an educational department, serves a crucial purpose in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of healthcare documentation. Medical Records and Transcription is a three-year training program that provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the management of patient records.
Why choose Medical Records and Transcription?
The program provides comprehensive training in medical terminology, transcription techniques, and medical records management. This includes teaching students or employees how to accurately transcribe medical dictations, provide medical codes, and manage electronic health records (EHRs). MRT program prepares trainees for successful careers in healthcare documentation. Training is delivered through a combination of lectures, hands-on exercises, and practical experience.
