A warm welcome to the School of Leadership and Management! We are one of the five (5) schools in Boitekanelo College, which consist of three departments, namely: Healthcare Service Management, Medical Records and Transcription and Health Informatics. In line with the College vision of changing lives through quality healthcare education and training, we steadfastly aim to respond to the growing demand for healthcare leadership and management with a view to positively impact the quality of healthcare delivery throughout Botswana and the surrounding regions. We are committed to offering excellent and lifelong learning opportunities to students. Furthermore, we are intentional about promoting a learning culture that upskill students with competencies that develop their intellectual capacities, further enabling them to be change agents and productive members of society. To ensure optimal output, we have adopted a student-centred teaching approach that incorporates theoretical knowledge and practical applications. For practical experiences, students are attached at Public and Private Hospitals for a period of three (3) months. We then deploy a team of qualified and experienced lecturers to monitor their progress.
