Boitekanelo College provides a diverse range of healthcare programs encompassing degrees, diplomas, and certificates. These include programmes such as Nursing, Rehabilitation sciences, Pharmacy, Emergency Medical Care, and Public Health. There are also a variety of short courses to cater to continuous learning.
High school certificates as well as any prior learning or experience will be taken into consideration during the evaluation process.
Applications may be submitted electronically through the college's web portal (https://stem.boitekanelo.ac.bw/applicant-portal/#/auth/login) or in person at the campus. In addition, applications are accepted during the college's participation in roadshows and career fairs.
Boitekanelo is fully accredited by the Botswana Qualification Authority, approved by the Botswana Health Professions Council, certified by the Botswana Bureau of Standards, accredited with Botswana's Nursing & Midwifery Council, and approved by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
Yes. The College provides a wide range of courses that are accredited and accepted internationally. The campus facilities are designed to meet global standards, ensuring an optimal learning environment for all students. The college adopts an inclusive approach where every individual seeking to pursue their education will be given fair consideration.
Certified educational certificates and transcripts, certified copy of national identity cards for local individuals, and certified copy of passports (photo page) for international students.
After a student gains admission to the college, they can request exemptions for specific modules based on the content they have already covered through prior qualifications or courses.
The admission process typically entails a timeframe of 7-14 days for completion.
The application form has 3 options for the applicant to fill, However, admission to any of the options is contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria and availability of spaces within the program.
Yes we do have programs which run on part-time basis. We also have programs which run on blocks where student attend on weekends at least twice a month.
Yes, there may be additional fees such as uniform fees, lab manuals fees, and resource fees. These will be outlined in the program's fee structure.
Yes, installment payment plans are available as per our fee structure. Please contact the finance office to discuss payment options and set up a plan.
Yes, early payment discounts are available for Higher National Diploma and Degree programs . Check with the finance office or our website for current promotions.
Missing a payment deadline may result on hold for ones your registration. Contact the finance office immediately to discuss your situation.
Registration for classes is in two folds that is for first year and continuing students.
1. For first year students they must come to the College with all the necessary documents which include sponsorship letters.
2. For continuing students registration is done via email where an email is sent to an eligible student outlining the courses the student can register for. The student will then acknowledge receipt of the email and confirm the registration of modules outlined.
After registration student receive proof of registration.
Student can add and drop modules registered for during late registration which is usually a week after registration.
There is late registration with a late registration fee.
Yes some modules have prerequisites and the student should have passed a prerequisite for them to register for a module with a prerequisite.
Withdrawal from class is done officially by notifying the student exceptional experience officer, writing a formal letter and filling in the withdrawal form.
Master class timetable is shared with students by student exceptional experience officers through WhatsApp.
We currently have part time and block release classes only.
Boitekanelo College does not have accommodation facilities, but through Student Engagement & Experience officers we assist our students with securing accommodation near the college and in and around Tlokweng community.
Boitekanelo College has different clubs that allow students to freely choose the ones they like. We have Road Safety Club, Counselling, BC Christian Movement, Entrepreneurship, debate, Boitekanelo Fitness Club, Choir, and Health and Wellness. These clubs play a major role in helping students to develop communication skills, networking skills, social skills and to develop their talents.
Boitekanelo College has a variety of sporting codes such as football, netball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess, karate, softball, darts, lawn tennis, rugby, and athletics. Likewise, students join any sporting codes of their choice which we believe enhances their skills in working as a team and nurtures their social and personal development.
Boitekanelo College do support elite athletes because they are a member affiliate of Botessa, which organizes games for colleges and university students thus giving them a platform to compete within the country, region, and internationally.
