The Clinical Technology department, recently commemorated World Kidney Day with a series of impactful events in Francistown and Kang. These events brought together the expertise and enthusiasm of clinical technology students, staff, and various community stakeholders to promote awareness about kidney health and disease prevention.

The clinical technology students and staff were at the heart of the events, contributing their knowledge and skills in organizing health screenings, providing educational talks, and engaging the community in critical discussions about kidney health.

World Kidney Day, observed annually, serves as a global platform to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health. The 2025 theme, “Are Your Kidneys OK? Detect Early, Protect Kidney Health,” emphasizes the need for early diagnosis and prevention strategies for kidney disease.

Boitekanelo College's involvement in World Kidney Day aligns with this global message by educating the local communities of Francistown and Kang about kidney health and preventative measures. The college’s efforts also reinforce its mission to integrate education with action, preparing students to make a lasting impact on the health of their communities.
