Boitekanelo College & University of Cape Town MoU Signing
Boitekanelo College just signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Cape Town, with a shared vision to bridge the gap and provide much needed education and skills development in rehabilitation services. The key focus here is on Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Audiology and Physiotherapy.
Professor Roshan Galvaan, the Head of Department in the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Services at University of Cape Town and Dr Tiro Mampane, the President and Founder at Boitekanelo College both expressed their mutual commitment to delivering quality healthcare education. As an institution committed to quality, we are confident that this alliance will have a positive impact on Botswana’s rehabilitation service delivery, much to the patients’ benefit. Dr Changi Baikai, Director Clinical Support Services in the Ministry of Health applauded both institutions that indeed they are demonstrating that African challenges must be solved by us Africans.
