About This Course
The Diploma in Health Promotion and Education is a 2-year full time course running through 4 semesters; spread over course work, research and a 13 weeks field attachment. This programme has its conceptual framework embodied in the Primary Health Care Model, of which the government of Botswana has committed itself to in order to promote the good health of its people. The programme is designed to enable graduates to work effectively and efficiently in a variety of settings such as District Health Management Teams, Schools, healthcare settings and non-governmental organisations.
