About This Course
The Degree in Health Promotion
and Education is designed to
provide students with learning
experiences which will assist
them to achieve desirable
understanding, attitudes and
practices related to critical health
issues. This will enable them to
completely impart knowledge and
skills to the community; and by so
doing increase the options
available to populations to
exercise more control over their
own health, environment and to
make the right informed choices.
The programme is designed to
enable graduates to effectively
and efficiently assess community
needs and design appropriate
health interventions.
