About This Course
The four-year Bachelor of Arts in Community Development programme is designed to equip graduates with skills in community organising; project design, planning and management; leadership and management of NGOs and CBOs; corporate social responsibility and public affairs management; local economic development; training and development and managing change.
The programme is intended to produce qualified community development practitioners equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to initiate, implement and manage social and economic development at all levels. Graduates will be able to apply social sciences, such as sociology, psychology, political science, public health, community development, law, and economics, to engage with various stakeholders in order to develop interventions that solve social and personal problems; and create social change in communities.
